Qualifications

We are looking for our next awesome director! Here's what we're looking for:

Our new director:

• Will inspire us to musical excellence through a balance of primarily encouragement and a little bit of tough love.
• Will be inclusive and welcoming to all chorus members and guests.
• Will have at least 5 years of choral directing experience.
• Will commit to leading Monday evening rehearsals from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Encinitas (San Diego North County).
• Will direct the chorus at scheduled performances and BHS contests (approximately six to nine per year).

Strong candidates:

• Will have experience singing barbershop, directing a barbershop chorus, and competing at BHS contests. 
• Will have experience creating visual expression (ie. choreography) to accompany some of our music.
• Will reside in San Diego County.
